Will one session get rid of ticks completely?

Usually not on its own. A bath clears what is on your pet today, but eggs in bedding, cracks and floors keep hatching for weeks, so most homes need a repeat session plus a thorough clean-up of the sleeping area.

Is this the same as a vet treatment?

No. We are groomers, not veterinarians. We do not prescribe or apply spot-on medication, oral tablets or injections. For a severe infestation, anaemia, scabs or constant scratching, please see a vet, and we are happy to groom alongside their treatment.

Is it safe for puppies and cats?

We only use products labelled for that species and age, and for very young puppies or kittens we stick to a mild bath and manual removal with a tick tool. Tell us your pet's age when booking so the groomer brings the right products.

Honest about the limits

A grooming bath handles the current load. If the infestation is heavy or the skin is inflamed, we will tell you to see a vet rather than sell you repeat baths.
